Getting Started

Who can participate in MWM?

MWM is exclusively for registered businesses. You must provide valid business information during registration, including company name, business address, and contact details. We may verify your business credentials before approving your account.

How do I create an account?

Click "Register" on the login page

Enter your email and create a password

Fill in your company information

Agree to the Terms of Service

Your registration may be reviewed before full access is granted

Is there a registration fee?

No, registration is completely free. You only pay when you win items.

Making Offers (Sealed Bid)

Do I always pay the Additional % I set?

No.

If no one else offers on the item, you win at the listed price — the premium is not charged.

You only pay your own offer (listed price + your %) when you outbid other buyers. The listed price is always the minimum, so your Additional % only applies when there's actually competition on the item.

Can I change or cancel my offer?

Before the deadline you can raise, lower, or cancel your active offer from My Bids. You can also change the offer from the item page.

After cancelling, you may make a new offer again as long as the deadline has not passed. After the deadline, winning, or invoice generation, offers are final. To cancel a confirmed purchase, please reach out via the Contact form.

What happens if two buyers offer the same amount?

The earliest submission wins.

If multiple buyers submit identical highest offers, it is first-come, first-served on a tie.

When will I know if I won?

Results are available after the sales period ends:

Winners

receive an invoice email

Non-winners

are not emailed — check My Bids after the deadline

The winner cancelled. Can I still buy the item?

Yes — we come to you first.

If a winning order is cancelled before payment, we offer the item to the next highest offer, at that buyer’s own offer amount.

You receive an email with a link. Open it and choose to buy or decline within 24 hours. If you buy, the item is added to your invoice. If nobody accepts, the item goes back into stock.

$1 Auction

How is the $1 Auction different from a Wave?

A Wave is a sealed-bid sale: you never see anyone else's offer, and everything is decided at one deadline. The $1 Auction is the opposite — the price is public and rises while the lot is live.

Every lot opens at $0.99, and each lot closes at its own time rather than all together with the Wave.

How much do I have to bid?

Bid the most you are willing to pay.

We then bid on your behalf, raising the shown price only as far as it takes to stay ahead of the next highest maximum — so you often pay less than the maximum you entered.

There is no reserve.

Whatever the highest bid is when the lot closes, that bid wins it, however small the amount.

Can I cancel a bid?

No.

Bids in the $1 Auction cannot be cancelled. You can raise your maximum at any time, but you can never lower it or take a bid back.

If you hold the highest bid when the lot closes, you have bought it and an invoice is issued — exactly as with a winning offer in a Wave.

If something has genuinely gone wrong, contact us. We can cancel a bid from our side in exceptional cases, and it is recorded when we do, but it is not something you can undo yourself.

Does a lot always close at the time shown?

Not if someone bids at the last moment.

If a bid arrives in the final 30 seconds, the clock resets to 30 seconds. That repeats for as long as buyers keep bidding, so a lot never closes in the middle of a contest and there is no limit on how often it can extend.

What is a Winning Bid?

Sunday Lowprice Auction lots can show a Winning Bid.

Bid that amount or more and you win the lot on the spot. The auction ends for everyone else, and you pay the Winning Bid price, not your maximum.

A Winning Bid purchase cannot be cancelled. It is invoiced together with your other Sunday lots after the Sunday Lowprice Auction closes.

Do my discounts apply to auction lots?

Only the card-payment discount.

Paying the invoice by credit or debit card takes 4% off, exactly as on any other invoice. Avatar, special, and item-level discounts do not apply to an auction lot.

Shipping is charged under the normal rules — it is not a discount and is not waived.

Item Conditions

Are items tested before listing?

Most items are inspected and tested when possible. However, some items are sold "as-is" based on consignor information. The description reflects our assessment at the time of listing.

Could an item have a smell?

Every item may have a faint smell

(storage, perfume, tobacco, etc.), even if the description does not say so. All items are pre-owned, so this applies to every listing and is not treated as an undisclosed defect.

Can I download product data and photos before I buy?

Yes — and that's by design. On the catalogue page you'll find a Pre-listing toolkit panel that lets you download:

Excel sheet

— all product details (brand, dimensions, condition, accessories, price…) for up to 2,000 items at once

Images ZIP

— HD photos grouped by SKU, for up to 300 items at once

You can do this before placing any offer. That means you can build your own product listings in advance and publish them the moment your shipment arrives — no waiting, no re-shooting.

After purchase, the same tools are available under My Orders.

What is the "Reference retail price"?

It is an estimate calculated by MWM, shown only for reference to help you picture a possible resale price. It is not a guaranteed selling price, and the item may not sell at that price. Please make your own resale decisions with this in mind.

For items that are also listed on eBay right now, we show a link to that eBay listing instead of a reference retail price.

Payment & Fees

Is there a buyer's premium?

No. There is no buyer's premium on MWM. You pay your winning offer amount.

What payment methods are accepted?

Credit / debit card via Stripe — 4% discount (limited-time campaign)

Payment is due within 5 days of the invoice date.

When is payment due?

Payment is due within 5 days of the invoice date. Late payments may incur a late fee (1.5% per month), and repeated late payment may restrict your account.

Are discounts available?

Eligible avatar and special discounts are applied automatically to invoices. Paying by credit or debit card adds an extra 4% discount in the Pay Now flow (limited-time campaign).

Shipping & Delivery

How does MWM package shipments?

MWM uses simple packaging as our standard shipping policy so we can keep wholesale prices as low as possible.

Unless an item is fragile or requires protection, we do not provide individual decorative wrapping, branded tissue paper, or presentation-style packaging for each item. Items are packed together in practical protective materials for efficient international shipping.

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping is charged per wave:

Free shipping

when you win 3 or more items in a single wave

$25 per item

when you win fewer than 3 items in a wave

Legendary Collectors

always get free shipping, regardless of the number of items

How do I track my shipment?

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can also view tracking details in your account under My Orders.

What if my item arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged:

Take photos of the damage and the packaging

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Do not discard the packaging

We'll file a claim with the carrier and arrange credit or replacement

Returns & Credits

Can I return items?

All sales are generally final, but returns may be accepted for:

Items significantly different from the description

Damage during shipping (report within 48 hours)

The wrong item being shipped

Returns for other reasons are handled case by case and may incur restocking fees.

How do return credits work?

Approved returns are credited to your account. Credits can be applied to future invoices and never expire. Approved return credits are applied to your invoice by our team.

What is the return rate policy?

We track return rates for quality purposes. Accounts with unusually high return rates may be subject to review. We work with customers to resolve any systematic issues.

Purchasing may be restricted due to:

Unpaid invoices past the due date
